... how did they determine where the geopolitical lines would be? Why is the Grand Canyon its own entity, and not part of Arizona or Deseret? How did they decide the two Coloradoan entities would be Boulder and Denver instead of, say, Denver and Colorado Springs? Why does Arizona own Roswell and Artesia? Why is most of New Mexico part of Texas instead of Colorado or Arizona, with whom it is really more geopolitically aligned? Why is Texas one giant megaconfederation when really it should be at least 3 or 4 distinct entities (Let me tell you, El Pasoans and Metroplex residents do not particularly feel much in common with each other, for example, and Houston and DFW both would wield enough influence to be the central economy of their own nation)...

SO MANY QUESTIONS, and I'm sure other people with higher levels of familiarity with other parts of the country have similar points about those...

Toledo would not be the center of the Northern Ohio region. In fact, I'm pretty sure Toledo, Cleveland, and Columbus would all be in one group with Pittsburg and Detroit and it would be called Lake Erie Union. Cincinnati gets absorbed into Kentucky, everything else becomes Ohio Heartland.

I'm honestly betting this was designed by looking at geographic features and nothing else.

I will not hide that I am very ignorant and lack a lot of knowledge about US geography and Culture. I only went in the US once. I tried to get informations before the map making but I know it’s very lacky and superficial.

I received a lot of corrections about mistakes and misses of the map so I hope that I ll be able to remake this map in a more proper manner.

Yeah, the idea that the DFW Metroplex would be bisected by an area created by the fork of the Trinity River... and given to WICHITA FALLS of all places... made me chortle.

Objects hidden behind spoiler tags are still loaded as if they were not spoilered, which is a change from how spoiler tags used to work back in Xenforo 1.0.

My youngest stepson and his girlfriend were living here, they went through this phase of talking Doge at the table at dinner. They thought it was hilarious---until I started doing it one night. It became instantly uncool and they never did it again.
