Getting the Orienteering badge in Boy Scouts must be really different now that phones have GPS. Back when I took a hike by topographical map and compass there was a lot of guesswork as to if we'd actually followed the course we were trying to do, but with GPS you can check your work and see how far off you were.

No phones allowed for that part. And now there is an actual (not phone) GPS training section.

Someone at the Alberta government needs to take their FUCKING hands off the Emergency Broadcast System. 9 tests in an hour is enough.
