I mean... it'd take less effort than ONE person biking through the snow, but a regular snow blower just takes one to push!

Some Rube Goldberg shit right there.

The last movie Chris Hemsworth makes should be a biopic about Edouard and Andre Michelin. That way he can say that acting has made him Thor and tired, and what a perfect time to take a break.

Over the weekend, I had a martini for the first time in my life. And I quite liked it. So I bought some gin and been experimenting.

I first tried gin & diet coke, similar to how I mix rum and diet coke. It was awful.

So I looked up what mixes good with gin.

I bought some cranberry juice. Then I put some ice in a blender, mixed about 2/3 juice with gin, with a splash of orange juice.

It turned out pretty good! I'll keep experimenting.

Personal head canon:

EVERYONE in Smallville knows Clark is Superman. They've known since he debuted as Superman. Small town chatter, and they put it together.

They're just too polite to say anything to outsiders. If the Kents want that to be private, then that's fine by them.

Or too scared.

"This guy could knock my head all the way to Tennessee with one punch. I'm not going to be the one to say anything about him if the Kents want to keep it secret."

No, I don't think so. They knew Clark. They watched him grow up. They would know the kind, gentle person that helped Mrs Davidson with her groceries or Pastor Frank hang the new basketball nets.

He earned their trust and goodwill just by being there for them. The least they could do is return the favor.

It would dovetail nicely with the fan theory that the Legion of Doom is perfectly aware that Superman is Clark Kent, they just collectively pretend not to know so that there is at least 8 hours a day where Superman is occupied trying to perpetuate the charade.

Fair point, though this is assuming everyone in Smallville is nice enough to keep that secret out of a sense of friendliness or trust. Maybe we're both right to varying degrees. Like most of the good people of Smallville are as you say, they keep the Kents' secret because it's the right thing to do, but perhaps there are a couple of miscreants who would tell the world if they felt the urge to... but they've just resisted that urge really really well because they saw on the news how Superman punched an alien robot all the way to the moon.

I always liked the idea that most criminals respect Superman. Not because he stopped their crime, but because he doesn't judge them for it most times. He tries to help everyone -EVERYONE - be better. And plus they all have friends or family. Eventually, everyone has a story about someone they know being rescued by the big guy. Criminals have family, too. "I can't hate the guy. He rescued my mother once from a giant ape! Yeah, it sucks he caught me, but he's a good guy."

Now, I only watched the first season and a half, so I'm basing my opinions on the early show, but didn't basically everyone in town have powers? I'd imagine the town being like "If we don't say anything maybe he won't go evil like all of our other children."

Is there a canon reason for why there's such a lack of people in Star Trek who don't wear glasses, or just a dumb reason? To my knowledge and research only THREE people in the history of Trek wear glasses-HERESY I SAY!

That reminds me of an Ant-Man comic where some C-list villains are giving a rookie pointers on how to commit super crime.

"If you're in New York, stick to Midtown. Spider-Man is all right. Laugh at his jokes and he'll go easy on you. You can try Hell's Kitchen but you don't want to mess with Daredevil. Dude's got some serious anger issues. Same with Luke Cage, although I met his wife once. Nice lady. And this goes without saying, but if you see the Punisher, you RUN. Hide. Pray. Oh, and make sure you report your income. The only thing scarier than the Punisher is the IRS. So if you want to avoid trouble just get an accountant."

I mean, even the blind guy eventually no longer has to wear glasses

All of them except Lex...

Aren’t there a million stories where the daily planet gets attacked and if not for the fact that superman is already there theyd all die?

Okay so anyone who has glasses is allergic to the meds for surgery, THAT I get-BUT-on the subject of surgery, why don't doctors and surgeons in Trek wear face masks most of the time?

Get out of my head, Gas.

My in-universe guess: ventilation is aimed to prevent spread, possibly assisted by forcefield emitters, and is invisible.
My guess as to the real reason: ACTING!

There are enough hospital dramas (and comedys) were the actors wear masks and it's not a problem. I guess masks are not futuristic.
