Yeah, was behind a pickup with a cap yesterday. The rear window of the cap had stickers in it for Hornady, that one of Michigan’s lower “mitten” peninsula where it’s depicted holding a gun, a star-spangled Punisher skull, a “Trump 2020” sticker, and also for some reason a German flag...not the standard standard with just the three colored stripes, but one with the Reichsadler eagle prominent in the center.

It's probably because the whole name of proposition 16 is called "Parents and Students for Racial Equality" and they just picked the absolute worst part of that sentence to abbreviate.
In simple terms, proposition 209 was an anti-affirmative action law wrapped in the idea of "true equality" by preventing discrimination and preferential treatment (aka, affirmative action). It actually did nothing to stop discrimination (as that's very hard to prove without affirmative action laws) but just made it so companies were no longer "forced" to sometimes include a POC in their employment roster if they didn't want to (of course citing they were just not a good fit for the company or whatever).
Proposition 16 wants to repeal it so that companies will once again have to include at least some POC or women in their rosters.

I think the thought behind it is that Prop 16 abolishes a "ban" on affirmative action processes. 209 prohibited all CA state institutions from using race as ANY factor in hiring/admissions, even for preferential treatment.
So, to those who consider Affirmative Action to be discrimination, you would vote against Prop 16 "for racial equality."
