This is on display at Nintendo's New York store:ProTip: Nothing lasts longer than a Nintendo system, though. I've seen Gameboy's that have been dropped from third story windows and stormed on that still played fine.

"Game Boy
Damaged in Gulf War
"This Game Boy was damaged when barracks were bombed during the 1990-1991 Gulf War. It still works!"
Also, years ago, Nintendo Power featured a story about a clogged toilet that a plumber found game cartridges in. They'd survived more than a day underwater, and drain-o and other efforts to clear the clog, and still worked when cleaned off.

That said, I had to send in my Wii to be replaced. It started having graphical glitches not long after purchase. The replacement has been running fine ever since, though.
