What are you playing?

The Dark v Light event has an end date, and it is 10/19/2016. Yup. 9 days from now. Overall, I've enjoyed the event, but I still can't fucking break round 4 of the eternal championship, and I need round 5 to get The Eternal Victor reward level (the new companion, etc).

So yesterday, I took a look at my steam library, hundreds of games with dozens of them never played, and decided it was time to buy another game. So I got Factorio for 20 bucks. Urgh, this is challenging. I'm not used to having to plan out manufacturing processes in physical space.

Round 4 is simple: tear down Chompers until he starts to regenerate, then burn down Conraad. Repeat as needed, but do not kill Conraad outside of Chomper's regeneration or Chomper will enrage. If your healer isn't doing their job, you're just gonna need to bite down and ether farm some supply crates to get gifts for them or buy them off the Exchange.

Round 5 is more of the same: when bots show up, kill them first then start working on the boss.

Where are you getting the end date for Dark Vs Light? Everyone else is saying November 22nd.

Oh, it was being discussed in general chat. I hope it's November 22nd. Where did you get that?

Why is it that Larry Butz is the only one of the Ace Attorney 1 Childhood friend trio not to age? Well the ep he's in IS called "Turnabout Timetravel" so maybe time dilation is a factor or something.

Okay, these DvL bound items are annoying. I've got like 4 complete collections of armor, but between two or three characters so I can't manage to unify them.

Also, fuck them for giving me two of the same mediocre Lightsaber in the same pack, neither one of which can I get rid of.

But, on the upside, I've finished the Dark vs Light event to the Eternal level. Since I have no intention of attempting Hard Mode flashpoints any time soon, I don't care about the top level - I've enough already for most of the good prizes and new companions.

ALL of that should be in your stash, unless you opened the boxes before the put the Cartel Stash in.

There are 4 games I'm interested in that are all coming out within 1 month:

Civ VI, Battlefield 1, DB: Xenoverse 2, WH40k: Deathwing

I might be able to afford 2 of these. WTF do I do.

Anyone looked at Shadow Warrior 2? Seems to be doing very well in the reviews and looks like it's gonna be a ton of fun. Like Borderlands with Ninjas.

Wow, so I picked up Shadow Warrior 2...I guess like 5 hours ago and have been playing it non-stop. That game is nuts. Its just so over the top and...just...nuts. Pretty solid game. Has some serious balance issues but lots of fun regardless.

I really liked Shadow Warrior, but I don't like the loot system in 2. Not everything has to be borderlands.

Its not really borderlands. There's a fixed amount of different weapons. But you can modify the weapons with different things.

Played Slaughterhouse 360 and Prototype today. One of them is a fun gorey beatemup that utilizes cliches nicely, and the other is Prototype...also there are fucking billboard ads to Gamestop and DC-COME ON! Really though, gameplay is all right but dear LORD do I not give a shit about this protagonist. I also felt like Morty Smith on the "Purge" episode with that "18 days earlier" bullshit. You know its bad enough you showed me how fun having all the upgrades in the beginning of the game is and then making me EARN them again like Metroid, did you have to pull that fucking cliche bull-shit? PENULTIMATE NOTE-part of me feels like they couldn't get the rights to Alucard from Hellsing or something, because this guy's powers feels more like a vampire than a bioweapon to me at times. FINAL NOTE-the only real issues I see with the gameplay so far, are that the lock-on button can be useless with flying enemies, and the fact I'm clearly some Spider-man style mother fucker running around New York...and I don't instantly get caught at times bugs me. BUT-it ain't bad, might continue.

AS FOR THE SLAUGHTERHOUSE GAME-Darkwing Duck plays a vampiric hellmask...fucking A!

You're placing Slaughterhouse above Prototype? Really? That's your final choice? Alright then...

@Zero Esc you no longer have the worst judgement in games :p

Just my initial impressions man, and honestly Prototype and Slaughterhouse have similar gameplay as brawlers, hell both of the mains have spiky arm modes!

I'm never really all that serious when I claim people have terrible taste in games. I have like 1000 hours in Blood Bowl (except that's a wonderful board game, just with a slightly less than user friendly video game port)
