Random Video Game Crap

Welp, there goes any interest I had in this game. Vic Mignogna has built a reputation of mistreating and abusing women. To the point that he tried suing some of his accusers of libel and lost...badly...because he couldn't price they were lying. He's a right-wing dickhead. Disappointing that 7 Days to Die would associate with him.

That Amazon one has an 11" blade length.

Hard to say for certain, but from the picture figmentPez posted, the blade looks like painted plastic.
Considering that we're just google searching, and these things are made by a variety of companies, no telling what the actual sword was made of.

That said, whether or not it was plastic or had sharp edges doesn't really mean anything to me. This here's a video of a dull-bladed balisong I printed:

This is interesting. City Planner Plays tries playing the launch day version of the Cities: Skylines 1.

It's kind of amazing to see how little there was in the game compared to later. Even without taking the DLC into account, there are a LOT of features that came in later updates that I take for granted now that weren't in the original launch version of the game.

This game has NOTHING to do with motherhood AT all. The symbolism isn't exactly subtle.

But I guess it is a From game and you need to read the items to actually know anything about anything. And that dipshit can't read.

The final DLC boss is a nightmare demigod fetus.

That literally wields it's PLACENTA as a weapon.

Not recognizing the themes of Bloodborne is almost as hard as drowning in an empty thimble. Bloodborne is not subtle at all.

No, see, this is like bribery... it doesn't count unless tehy say "I'M BRIBING YOU WITH THIS MONEY RIGHT NOW!" (especially not when they give it to you after you ruled in their favour). Or, in this case, say "THIS STUFF ABOUT BIRTH RELATED THING IS ABOUT MOTHERHOOD!".

I would never argue that Bloodborne is some feminist work, it gets it's period blood is gross and so are vaginas shtick from the same well as Lovecraft's own misogynist fears. But it does have deep rooted mommy themes.

I'm watching "Fresh Off the Boat" and do you notice anything wrong with this Game Genie for the Super Nintendo?

That's a Game Genie for the NES.

Maybe some will find this interesting.
Masahiro Sakurai is talking about his Video game storage. Seems that he doesn't really care for packaging. His comment about his custom made media tower is amusing. It doesn't really looks so expensive.

I sent a few of you that I recognized on steam invites to Valve's new thing Deadlock. No worries if you don't want them, and sorry for the spam if you don't, just figured I had access so could. If anyone else wants it let me know your steam name.

For those that haven't looked into what Deadlock is, it's a lane-based competitive multiplayer shooter. I have not kept up with competitive multiplayer games, so I don't know what to compare it to. My guess is that it's somewhat like League of Legends and Overwatch mixed together, but I haven't played any of them, since I haven't had any interest in competitive games in a long while. I bailed out of Deadlock before even getting past the How to Play readme, but it does look like it's got some solid mechanics, based on what I know of the various genres it's mixing.

Tried Deadlock. Exactly what Pez said - it's Overwatch shoehorned into a League of Legends form factor and after trying the tutorial levels I had little to no interest in continuing. Thanks, Dave, for the invite to try it though - I'm glad I got to try it first hand to see what all the hub bub was about.
