Surgeon: <wielding scalpel in one hand and tiny lariat in the other> "Nurse, I said suction! Yeehaaaw! Come back here ya little wrigglin' varmi...oh look! A lemon!""The eel had bitten through the patient's rectum and colon to escape into the abdominal cavity" [...] Surgeons had no choice but to open him up and inside they found the eel—65cm long and 10cm in circumference—still alive.
Apparently, they also found a lemon in his anus which they also removed.
That's...basically how I feel every time I go biking. I don't actively try to get hit, and in fact go out of my way to avoid it at every possibility, but I wouldn't be against a driver putting me out of my misery.Bruh
Dude in 2020 posting things I felt in 2014. It can get better, I promise. I would totally scramble out of the way of the truck now.
I'm not even a driver and that's terrifying.That's...basically how I feel every time I go biking. I don't actively try to get hit, and in fact go out of my way to avoid it at every possibility, but I wouldn't be against a driver putting me out of my misery.
Also, considering how many people are religious, and even more are at least spiritual, what even makes ppl think that dying will even work to end your suffering ?Similar idea, I think. Sure, if a truck hits you and you die, that's nice and clean. But... what if it doesn't kill you all the way?
I follow the rules of the road and bike defensively at any and all times. If I'm going to get hit, they'll be at fault. And if they're at fault at kill me, I HOPE they're traumatized and never drive again. Fuck drivers who kill cyclists.I'm not even a driver and that's terrifying.
Pls don't traumatise other people like that.
I mean, in general, fuck drivers who drive like their vehicle is an extension of their dick, and crowd/intimidate cyclists, deliberately aim for fleeing animals/pets, and take up 5 parking spaces (1 handicapped, 1 EV charging, and 3 regular) with one vehicle.Fuck drivers who kill cyclists.
I was going more for the intrusive thoughts thing. Even a split second of you not avoiding a car that made a mistake / error when you could have could lead to something, and it's not like there's such a thing as a perfect driver, so we do low key depend on everyone else on the road avoiding each other's mistakes from time to time. It's not always just arseholes driving dangerously.I follow the rules of the road and bike defensively at any and all times. If I'm going to get hit, they'll be at fault. And if they're at fault at kill me, I HOPE they're traumatized and never drive again. Fuck drivers who kill cyclists.
