Got a notification today. I'll get it back around the 20th of this month. That's better than I thought. They said that some rings can take up to 6 weeks depending on how backed up they are and how complicated the design is.That's adorable. Especially with your avatar.
Shit on her desk.Asked out a female friend.
Got rejected.
Like a boss?
I'd say!Je ne peux pas parle français couramment.
Indeed - in fact, the thought that kept me going through all that was remembering and looking forward to my next 70-degree Christmas.Funny how we were dying of drought and a massive heatwave just a few months ago eh Gas?
*goes back to enjoying her amazing weather*
Even though I like living in Texas, I'd tend to agree. You can always put more clothes ON, there comes a point where you can't take any more OFF. Also, while there is such a thing as "closed due to snow," "closed due to heat" is much rarer.I'd rather live in a wintery hell hole than a desert like one.
I hate temperatures higher than about 25 degrees C.
And I don't find -20 C (-4 F) that cold either. It's all relative.77° F, thats not even that hot.
It is in January... Even by Texas standards.77° F, thats not even that hot.
I do my field work at this time of year in a hoodie, its not that bad. when it goes below zero I grab a jacket and gloves, just for the walking. take the gloves off when I am working on something.I was worried that going back to Colorado last month, I'd be all wussy about the cold. I was pleasantly surprised - all the locals were constantly bundled up while I enjoyed the brisk, 20-someodd degree weather with nothing more substantial than a hoodie. Didn't much care for the ice on all the roads though.
Oh, ok.We're in some kind of chinook
I don't have to imagine it: I live in Savannah.although 95 wont seem hot to you in the south, imagine it with 100% humdity
do you also get the tomorrow it will be 10 below with a blizzard after being hot and muggy? if so you and I are soul brothers in the pain of living in the kind of weather that stories are made of!I don't have to imagine it: I live in Savannah.
While I will admit I laughed at your clever use of wordplay, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinook_wind*img snip derp derp derp*
