i think maybe someone with more power than GameStop Corporate thinks they have is putting a stop to this because im seeing reports on Twitter of people receiving calls from their local store telling them to come get their preordered copies on animal crossing now instead of tomorrow

Yeah but some people love that physical copy though, and two big preorders - Animal Crossing New Horizons and Doom Eternal - drop “tomorrow” but like i said theyre releasing them tonight.
i assume they were hoping to get away with it because stores like Walmart will still be able to sell copies and they dont want to risk losing preorder returns because they werent open for people to come get them.
Are we surprised by anything he does these days?

Since it looks like this may go much longer than anticipated, I'm going to need more groceries. I really didn't want to go out for two weeks straight, but I can't wait until we're completely out of food if quarantine will continue past that.

I still don't get why you guys have opened ice cream containers.
Over here they seal them with plastic over teh lid if it's from a US producer, and no one would actually buy an unsealed one.
I can't be evicted, but if I make rent, I can't drive, or eat, or medicate myself, etc. etc.
I was thinking more if you can't be evicted, your need to pay rent in the short term decreases significantly.
Some people have trouble adjusting to new things or adopting new ideas.
I'm guessing your board consists of many such people.
