A tremor? Caffeine poisoning? A newfound attachment to your toilet?I have aquired a thing!
Been watching this with interest on Facebook. I'm so glad you're doing well. Kerri and I miss seeing you every year.I closed on a new house in North Carolina, completed my last major field exercise with the Army, and I am all set to Retire in November.
TBH, it hasn't been that bad. I mean, it's taken a bit, but not been that painful.Oh, hell, I wouldn't even want to try to delete everything in my Gmail account.
I know that feel.
Oh my work email is an exception, as I on principle do not look at it when I am not at work.my WORK e-mail, however, always has less than 10.
Same! My coworker saw that number once though when I was showing her something and was horrified lol.My mail app sorts all the crap to the side and doesn't have notifs about it, so I honestly don't give a shit how much junk mail I have.
Such a lovely time of year to visit DFW. The air temp is over 100f, the concrete is radiating 100f at midnight, the dry parched earth has baked into a brick that is still 90f at midnight. But the wind is blowing like a convection oven so that your sweat dries instantly.So....every indication I have so far is that I'll be in the DFW for work in August.
Hah, I lived in Texas for 40+ years. I know all about it.Such a lovely time of year to visit DFW. Good luck though.
It was just me reminiscing about my childhood. Didn’t mention it, but brought back memories of the 2nd degree burns I got on my hand from a car door handle. Didn’t say they were good memories.Hah, I lived in Texas for 40+ years. I know all about it.
My brother lives in that area, more to the Ft. Worth side of things though. I'm not sure exactly where, though, he's only been there for a year or two.So....every indication I have so far is that I'll be in the DFW for work in August.
It needs a wash. The pika-mobile looks great. I am not impressed that I had to drive our lazy ass kids to school in it though.
Argh the Aperture sticker is slightly crooked! Either make it decently off-grid like Eve's quote, or line it up properly, but looking at that would drive me to madness!I recently replaced my work laptop that was getting increasingly unusable due to lag/general sluggishness. The new one is smaller, lighter, newer, and admittedly has less memory. But it was cheap, it is fast, and I don't care.
As a result of this lack of concern for the machine's resale value (or something?) I have been decorating it. I have never put any identifying marks on a computer before in my life, so this is a big deal for me.
I applied what I think is the last sticker today, and I share the results with you all.

You might also consider adding an IDIC emblem. I feel like it would fit you.I have never put any identifying marks on a computer before in my life, so this is a big deal for me.
I know, I wasn't organized enough (or have a good enough eye) to get it perfect.Argh the Aperture sticker is slightly crooked! Either make it decently off-grid like Eve's quote, or line it up properly, but looking at that would drive me to madness!
Or already has, whichever.
Tempting. I don't know enough Star Trek to justify it. But I do like it!
