What are you playing?

Really torn on this one myself. I never played the Gamecube one, so I don't know what to expect exactly. I wish Nintendo would release a demo. It feels like their only major recent release that they've opted out of doing a demo for, even though I have Shigeru Miyamoto sending me SwapNotes and appearing as a Mii in a Luigi hat telling me to buy the game.
I just wanted to point out that this sounds like you're hallucinating.

"A JAPANESE MAN DRESSED AN ITALIAN MAN IS TELLING ME TO BUY GAMES"

Picked up a couple games at Steam's Indie game sale last night. Monster Loves You, which is a really silly little thing where you're supposed to balance a bunch of different traits through the art of decision making and be the best monster you can be. It's fun, it's cheap, it's simple. Also, Ticket to Ride, because I liked the board game. I've discovered that... I like the board game. The computer version isn't bad - it's just like any other board game that's been turned into a computer game, in that it was meant to be a board game. But it is still fun.

Waiting for my Luigi's Mansion to get here tomorrow, then I will be trying to save it for my trip to see my parents next week, but will inevitably fail and justify it by saying "Well my son can play it on the plane then instead."

For now playing some SC2 yay!
I see yooooooou... playing Luigi's Mansion.

Resident Evil: Revelations - REALLY not enjoying the Chris stuff. It's kind of killing the game for me. Also, the whole "last time on Dragonball Z" shit is stupid. It's not like it's a Telltale game that we'd need a recap after a month. It's all one game on a cartridge. Capcom, come on.

Okay, what the FUCK. I have questions.

- Who the fuck is Veltro? I played Resident Evil 5, which I thought was the previous game to RE: Revelations. It's like a totally different universe.
- Is this game supposed to suck?

I'm trying to make myself muscle through because I know more money was spent getting me this for Christmas than would have cost had I bought it used myself, but ... I have so many better 3DS games I could be playing right now.

Scribblenauts Unlimited: Where I can complete missions while riding a rocket-powered flying red elephant, both of us wearing matching goggles. Much better.

It's wonderful. They've improved the controls, and the game has as much if not more personality than the first.

I beat Borderlands 2 last night. Beat the Warrior and never went below 1/2 my health. I was level 32 and had a shield that had about 40% damage reduction from fire based attacks. Kicked his ass without hitting his heart and got the achieve. I only went into the lava once.

Now I'm playing again at the True Vault Hunter level and I've already died twice. Guess I have to go back to being careful.

True Vault Hunter mode is a real nice kick in the ass.

[AND NOW, THE EVER-BEHIND-THE-TIMES FUN SIZE WILL ANNOUNCE SOMETHING EVERYONE ALREADY KNOWS]

I made the best decision ever. After the dire grind of Arkham City Riddler trophies, Portal 2 is so far an endless source of genuine delight. Every time I think it's almost over, I find out that there's a whole new thing to deal with, and every time it makes me so goddamned happy.

At this point, I think this quote is appropriate:

Wheatley said:
Most test subjects do experience some, uh, cognitive deterioration after a few months in suspension. Now, you've been under for … quite a bit longer, and it's not out of the question that you might have a very minor case of serious brain damage. But don't be alarmed, all right? Although, if you do feel alarm, try to hold onto that feeling, because that is the proper reaction to being told you have brain damage.

Going back and forth between leveling a fresh Hunter on WRA Horde and playing Xenoblade now that the Wii's not on the main tv anymore. Might slip a little Wind Waker or Megaman Collection in there if I get bored.

On a rare day when I finally get a non-wife Steetpass (three, in fact) I'm at a damn shield ghost in Find Mii and no one has the right color of shirt.

It's funny when your eye makes notice of someone at the mall passing by and then when you find a Mii in your Mii Plaza, you can tell it's the same person.

So the Ultima kickstarter got me thinking so I got to downloading a UO pre T2A client and found a shard that has been on for YEARS.

600+ people on at all times, some of which are people who macro with mules.

Been re-experiencing the game... it's been REAL fun.

Did you see that they're adding a new Vault Hunter? And it's a Bandit Psycho.

It kinda pisses me off that he's not included in the season pass, though, so I'll probably never get him.

What client emulator are you using? I used to have my own small runUO server for my friends and I but the client we were using stopped functioning one day (I think we were using UOGateway).

Was there anywhere left to build a house at all?
I ran around, found a few spots. too early to start planning. Macroing some skills with Razor tonight and leaving it on, I should be able to adventure some tomorrow and not get owned by skeletons.[DOUBLEPOST=1364510845][/DOUBLEPOST]

I'd love if we could setup a server for us.

In the interests of supporting charity (honest!) I picked up the Humble Android Bundle.

Installed Plants vs Zombies and played it for the first time on the subway ride to work.

Missed my stop and was late for work.

I know what I'm doing today at lunchtime.

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon: This game is one charming mofo. I traded a crappy creep-around-the-boat game for a good creep-around-the-mansion game. Works for me. Haven't played beyond the first mission, but it's solid and fun to poke around and catch ghosts.

Haven't unlocked the multiplayer yet, but I'm happy to see it's DS Download Play so I can do Scarescraper with my cousins and wife whenever we all next take a trip together.

PvZ was free on the App Store a couple weeks ago. I killed a few hours without even noticing.

Black Ops II: Slowly chugging along. Got to play for about two hours the other day. The damn coordination missions are not my cup of tea. I'm glad they are optional, but I kinda wish I could still perform them.
I'm having a lot of fun on the campaign though. I just got to...
...where the terrorists kidnap the girl. And you find out it's a WHO not a WHAT that they were after.
I quite enjoy the levels and gameplay. Amazing graphics. Flooded Pakistan was absolutely amazing, and I wish it was on the multiplayer maps. The dialogue and story is pretty intriguing so far as well.

Arcadecraft: I don't know if this is a new one or not, but I couldn't resist a tycoon style simulator where you try to build your own arcade. I only got about 15 minutes of gameplay so far, but I'm enjoying for the time being.

We have an Arma3 server set up with some friends. Been playing a lot of domination. Tons of fun. Still in Alpha so there's a lot of room for growth.

Playing X-com for the first time, since I've already finished Bioshock.

Playing classic difficulty w/ironman because I think I'm a badass.

I'm getting my ass kicked.

Yeah don't do that. Hard game is hard.

A little bit of research would have prepared you for that.

Personally, been playing it Ironman the last 2 games, can't go back to normal mode.

Yeah, like Jay said. Don't do that. At least play through it once on normal so you're very familiar with all the mechanics. Then go back to classic ironman and watch your favorite soldiers die constantly.[DOUBLEPOST=1364604984][/DOUBLEPOST]

Do you know what emulator the shard you're playing on is using?

How is Arma3? I played the second one a bunch... but sucked at it for the most part. Still liked the insane realism though.

I picked up Hitman Absolution because it's on sale for 9.99 on steam until the first. So far the game is really good looking, but haven't gotten far enough to judge the mechanics. Seems pretty much the run of the mill Hitman game.

Dunno, I downloaded the Pre-T2A client from http://www.uosecondage.com/

It's literally an auto-install and I was in their server in 20 minutes.

I may join you Jay. I obviously don't have a ton of time but I was always good at making reasonable warriors and metalworking characters.

I also want to ask if anyone has seen a game called Starforge? It's in the alpha right now... but the possibilities of it look incredible. Jay, this could something that would be fun as hell to play multiplayer.
