What are you playing?

Damn, really? Ah well, guess going against Occam's razor is okay too.
Spoilers for things that are actually pretty obvious -
You aren't even Alex Mercer. Mercer died trying to smuggle blacklight out. The blacklight virus consumed his biomatter, and assumed his form and memories. Since they were the first for that batch of blacklight, it just assumed it was Alex (because his are its only memories at that point) and that somehow he miraculously survived and that the blacklight virus "did something" to him to turn him into what he became.

But no, you, the player, from start to finish, are playing as the blacklight virus.

I love the Prototype games. I've replayed them multiple times. But they're definitely not perfect by any means. They're definitely guilty pleasures for me. I think I played some of that Slaughterhouse remake and I couldn't get into it for some reason.

Fallout 3

My friend gave me his extra...I can all ready feel it feeding off my life-force.

You don't realize what a shit game Fallout 3 is until you play New Vegas and go "Oh, that's right, this is Fallout!"

But if you haven't played either before, do finish 3 first, because you won't want to go back.

I think that's a bit unfair. Fallout 3 isn't a BAD game by any stretch of the imagination and is perfectly enjoyable on it's own merits... it's just not anywhere near as good as New Vegas, which sets the bar for what a Fallout game SHOULD BE. And, truth be told, I generally like Fallout 3 more than I liked Fallout 4.

Well, 99, but a lack of factory building isn't one of them.
My current biggest problem is I don't think there's enough alien life on this planet for me to kill for purple research ingredients.

It's kinda funny though how the zerg (I mean, really, they're zerg in everything but name) go from "oh shit I'm doomed!" to "ha ha ha did we just run over something?" once you build a tank.

Haven't played Factorio, to be honest, but in that case, just wait for the Ultralisks :p

When you're in a tank, things don't happen to you. You happen to them. (From a Popular Mechanics article on driving a tank)

Grim Dawn was on sale for 12.50 through their website, so I got a copy :)
Hmmm. I've heard good things and I was waiting on a sale. On the other hand, I kind of burned out on D3 this season and I have the TQ Anniversary Update to play through that I haven't started yet. I'm torn....But these guys do deserve some money and it does sound like a game I want to play. Damn you limited money and time budgets!

I blame Game Freak. Every other game, people abbreviate, but this one we have to say Pokemon Sun and Moon every time. No BW. No ORAS. No XY. Sun and Moon.

I'm also ... really not feeling Pokemon right now. Maybe I will in a month, or maybe when my wife gets it, I'll see her playing and want to get it, but after playing the demo I just don't think I'm going to have fun. It looks pretty for a Pokemon game, but I can't see why I'd buy this when I haven't even played Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse yet.
