The I'm Drunk/Wasted/High thread part too drunk to count

My government weed has a tamper proof/freshness seal.View attachment 27839
My legal rec shop is required to put my cartridges, edibles, and shatter in a childproof "go-bag" in addition to the already mostly childproof packaging, which I then frequently have to rip/tear/cut open to get to my weed. The bonus is, I get to smell and see all of my flower before choosing what I want to buy. I thought it was a ridiculous custom when we first moved here - but it turned out we were just going to bad dispensaries where they kiefed their weed before selling it. I'd be very hard pressed to go back to the Washington model of everything being prepackaged in 1/3.5/7/14/28g packages.

I'm totally on board with the seal being there and the childproof jar, though I wish it were glass I understand plastic is cheaper. There's just something very unusual about receiving a thing delivered by the postal service, a crown corporation, sold by the government itself, that came with excise stamps on it that a week before could have landed me in jail.

We got 4 different strains and that was the only one to come with any measure of real childproofing, though I'd argue the nigh kevlar bag with the impossible to open ziplock type seal was close. The other two came in these very odd, almost sleeve like cardboard boxes with a semi-hard plastic insert that was then sealed with a foil-lined paper. The plastic has notches that you're supposed to push into the box itself to prevent it from being removed if it's in there but they didn't do that great a job. I was able to just yank it out easily enough.

BC currently only has one official retail location currently and it's in Kamloops, three hours away. I like weed but not that much. There are locations in Vancouver where I am that are sitting in this weird gray area right now, they were allowed to open in 2015 to combat the black market sales and other reasons but as of Oct 17th could not sell product that they had before if they wanted any hope of staying open once retail licenses become available.

So, unfortunately, I'm a bit hosed currently when it comes to viewing the goods before buying.

These are the ones I hate the most. My favorite oil brand makes their own go-bags, and they're this construction. You have to push the bag together from the ends and simultaneously pull the center points away from each other, while moving a hard plastic zip counterclockwise, and standing on one leg. Or use a knife.

And yeah, I wouldn't drive three hours for weed either. I might drive that far for free (high quality!) seeds or clones, though.

We can grow up to 4 plants per residence but our apartment buildings and landlords by law can say whether or not that's allowed in their buildings, as well as make the building non-smoking, which they did as of the 15th. I'm already breaking the rule by using my Buddha vaporizer inside but I won't push it by growing too.

This was a major point of consideration in where we moved last year. We chose Oregon in part because we can grow up to four plants per house - and because only landlords could prevent people from growing, which we wouldn't have to worry about, since we were buying a house. The county we moved to was "wet" or "green" as the case may be, but the town was dry when the laws went into effect originally. They've since removed the prohibition on businesses in the city limits, but the issue is there's a distance restriction between schools and pot businesses, and we're a tiny town with two schools, so there's almost nowhere in town that's far enough from a school and still in city limits. So, we get to drive 30 minutes each way to the big town on the coast where dispensaries are allowed by the municipality. The frequency of those trips should go down significantly in the next 7 or 8 weeks, as my first run of plants mature.

I just over slept for work. The first time since I was in college. Sat up till 1 or 2 drinking. I can normally handle that. Woke up at 7:50am ten minutes before I am due to work.

I have 700 hours of sick time. It does not matter that much, if he understands or not. Like I was saying, I have not slept over in this badly in nearly 30 years.

Trinidad OG (which Leafly tells me is also known as 303 OG, aka Chemdawg X Pre-98 Bubba Kush) shatter, at 70%. Good night.

The typos in your last couple posts really drive home that you are posting in this particular thread ;)

Drunk woman sitting bored and lonely at a train station with boyz II men playing, I've seen enough internet videos to know where this leads.

It leads to drunk posting on the internet.

Anectodal evidence would appear to support your claim.

I was also surrounded by people that had just attended some Wrestlemania at MSG upstairs. It was an odd night.
