Wasn’t it always? Anti-vaxxers have been around a long time.So now the flu shot is a political issue.

Neither is being against the COVID vaccine. They’ve existed but it’s never been the explicit goal of one of the major political parties.
I mean, the flu's no worse than COVID, right? So now the flu shot is a political issue.
Well they can't call it "evolution," because that would go against their brand.Newsmax is advocating eugenics.
1) My daughter is 11. She will probably get a vaccine the moment (hell, the actual day of her birthday if I can pull it off) she turns 12. She’s already had two close calls where she was exposed to someone with COVID-19, but luckily she has tested negative both times.*I know kids under 12 can’t get vaxxed and there are a few medical reasons where you’d be unable to but that’s not super common.
Chemo tends to severely weaken the immune system, mainly because bone marrow and other parts of the body that create white blood cells are very sensitive to the type of poisons used in many types of chemo.for reasons I don’t fully understand her doctor says she can’t be vaccinated. She even got a 2nd opinion and was told no. It has something to do with her immune system being compromised so much that he worried the vaccine would make her sick.
No, no you’re not.I'm an unfeeling bastard,
it's their kids and people that are immuno compromised around them that I really truly feel sorry for.Yeah, I get it and feel the same until I.I'm reminded of all the immunosuppressive people who suffer because of these assholes, not to mention children are not approved for the vaccinations yet.
I hate how selfish and stupid our society is, but I'm thankful I have no offspring to worry over. Caring for future generations is a terrible burden.
Mayo Clinic as of this past Friday: Guys? Hellooooo..?US People: (chanting) "No masks after July 1st! Full Independence July 4th! COVID is over!"
Mayo clinic: "Uhhh..."

Has the amount of testing stayed more or less the same?Mayo Clinic as of this past Friday: Guys? Hellooooo..?

(for those following along at home, this means that the average number of positive tests PER DAY in the US has MORE THAN DOUBLED over the last two weeks. Might want to lay in a supply of quarantini fixins, is what I think I'm saying.

Not sure what difference that would make. The graph is not “Number of positive tests,” it is “Percentage of tests which come back positive.” Unless you are suggesting the numbers are skewed due to “more infected people were tested”…but unless they knew ahead of time that they were infected, isn’t that why they were being tested? To find out?Has the amount of testing stayed more or less the same?
Which is why the total number matters. Not sure what difference that would make. The graph is not “Number of positive tests,” it is “Percentage of tests which come back positive.”

Honestly, this is too little, too late. They spent way too long denying and obfuscating. People died because they listened to these hack "journalists" over doctors, scientists, and their own families.Something strange is going on at fox noise. The pod people are showing traces of... gasp... humanity. Doocey and Kilmeade telling viewers to get vaccinated? That if they refuse and die it's their own damn fault?
They're being forced slightly back to the center (such as it is).Something strange is going on at fox noise. The pod people are showing traces of... gasp... humanity. Doocey and Kilmeade telling viewers to get vaccinated? That if they refuse and die it's their own damn fault?
I think the whole pandemic and the response to it has (and continues to) proved again that by FAR the majority of people are selfish, short-sighted dickheads. "Do it for someone else" just doesn't work.Telling people to do it so they don’t die is still the wrong message. Do it so you don’t end up killing someone else needs to be beat in to their brains.
Empathy for others? Sounds like communism to me.Telling people to do it so they don’t die is still the wrong message. Do it so you don’t end up killing someone else needs to be beat in to their brains.
