The windows are open right now, here, and I can hear the sound of car horns beeping over and over in the distance. I assume it is a mob psyching itself up to doing something stupid.
EDIT: Also the carillon at the nearby church has been playing "Happy Birthday" for the last hour and a half straight, and I can't help but feel it's some kind of signal.

Since the HK protests were brought up as a counter, the only way to compare them to the situation in Michigan would be if the CCP organized them to go after a duly elected leadership. Which didn't (AFAIK) happen.
Ya notice DeVos, et. al. didn't bankroll or organize protests against REPUBLICAN governors? These weren't legitimate protests. These were terror tactics meant to sow chaos in favor of cheeto.
